Cartoon Wars 3 app good for
When I heard that there was a cw3, I was skeptical at first. I loved the first and second games a lot, but I didnt see how they could go anywhere uphill from cw2. They definitely added in some fresh mechanics while keeping the style close to the original 2 games. I actually love everything about the new cw, except the mandatory internet connection. I feel that this game would be amazing if I could play the adventure mode offline, as that is what I loved about the other cws. I was also secretly hoping for a little more storyline, but thats fine.

Duel of Fate was the best game Gamevil had until it vanished from the app store. Please bring Duel of Fate back Gamevil. Me and my bros always used to battle on it and compete to see who had the best decks but now we cant.
First, lets start with the bad things. This game is very little like the first two, which is sad because I loved them. Also, the roulette is 100% rigged. All I get is 3EA swords and 1EA Key. Now for the good stuff. This game isnt a pay to win, which I see quite often these days. They do have 3 different types of currency: Gold, Crystals, and the new Green Crystals. Gold is very easy to require, and is used for many things in the game. Crystals are rare, but after a week of playing and setting up you can get 60-80 a week. Green Crystals are new, and very rare, but Im not sure on how to acquire them. You can purchase gold and the normal crystals, but with a 30 minute grind you can easily get 5-10 dollars worth of gold, and crystals come with time. There is so many units in this game, and all somehow remain interesting and different. There are 4 online modes: Treasure Hunt (the newest one), Raid, Team Battle, and Siege. Treasure Hunt is very new, and I dont know much about, but I believe it is how you get crystals and green crystals. Raid is where you battle against someone elses team, which is controlled by an AI. Team battle is a little weird, but what you do is design a team of 4, and you watch as they battle someone elses team. Lastly, Siege is where you have 8 units charge into battle against AI. It all may seem complex, but once you get familiar with the game, it becomes quite simple. Anyways, I recommend getting this game, its fun and kinda unique.
Whenever I try to siege now after the new update, it never seems to load. Idk if others are experiencing this but its something that I expect to be fixed in the next update, maybe. Other than that though I love this game. I played the first two in middle school. I also played Cartoon Wars: Blade. Best addition to this game from the others is the multiplayer modes.
Its a fun game that if you want to win regardless if you pay money or not its going to take time and smart choices. Paying doesnt give you an advantage it just makes getting thing a little faster.
Some bad moments
This game is great. I love all the creative characters, but there is a major flaw. The system of upgrading and enhancing is poor. The chance of failed is far too high! Most of the gold you gain is wasted for no gain. This fact really makes me want to quit playing the game!
You guys tried to change too much and its just needlessly complicated now.
Ver.112 update
We added green gem system to make you spend more money.
We added new rewards that you couldnt get if you already upgraded your base or you already done some progress on adventurer mode. Because we dont have a good code writer to give you the rewards or we just dont want to.
We added new research system that you could upgrade your tower, units, arrow etc. Meanwhile we nerfed your tower, arrow, units to make you think you need research to upgrade those maybe spend some money on it. We call it "Balance"
In conclusion, we want your money MORE than your good experience.
It was a good game and I know their games all about grinding if I dont want spend real money and that is fine. But what is this update? Their excuses is "we want new players to catch up". Then that is their reason to not give old players the rewards that they suppose to get.
This game has literally no PVP or cooperation evolved, then whats the point to catch up? This is a totally unfair movement and shame on you!
As an experienced gamer it is always fun to figure out games and how to succeed. But this game has so much that is unknown, a horrible friend system, and it seems when u advance things the game gets harder, which makes grinding pointless. This new treasure hunt feature is horrible. U click to play and it already says someone is playing it. So i sit there and keep clicking through the twenty screens for 5 minutes til i get in. Only to find one troop so strong it wipes me out in seconds. Why exactly would u make it so people have to click steady just to play a level. The game was annoying enough before this feature, now it is worse.
I have loved all the cartoon wars games until blade came out, which was the first freemium cartoon wars game. The game was just a slow grind or pay real money to get further. It got boring very quickly. This game is similar in that it takes a long time to get enough gold or crystals to buy what you want unless you spend real money. I dont like the direction cartoon wars is going, and I hope that if you make a fourth game it will be more like cartoon wars 2, which is by far the best one.
I would give this a 5/10, sadly, for all the unnecessary grinding
I hate this game for many reasons. One being that when I started I spent a dollar on a starter pack with a Premium summon. Premium is a rarity in this game. I was really mad when I got a two star also known as a piece of crap out of my premium pack. The treasure hunt mode is NEVER OPEN SO YOU CANNOT DO IT! Then anyone you fight is too easy AND THIS IS A PAY TO DO ANYTHING GAME SO DONT BUY IT OR YOU WILL BE SCAMED
